SDSL system utilizes only one pair
of copper wires but enables symmetric transmission from 272 Kbps
to 2,320 Kbps (40 times faster than 56 Kbps analog modem) at maximum
distance of about 3 km(10,000 ft) supporting megabit transmission,
integrated voice, data and even interactive video communication
at MPEG1 rates as the block diagram shown below. |
